Jackie Moody Andreas, 88, passed away October 2, 2026 peacefully in Seminole, Florida, with her family by her side.

Jackie was born on July 27, 1938 in Norwalk, Connecticut, to Dr. Kenneth and Elsa Buell. She grew up in Tryon, North Carolina, after losing her parents at a young age.

She attended nursing school and went on to manage doctors' offices as her career.

She loved country music, dancing, and spending time with her friends. She loved her cats, camping, walking on the beaches in Maine, and boating out to islands in Penobscot Bay.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Andreas, Sr.; her daughters Heidi Newman, of Camden, and her husband Ken; Shelley Moody, of Orlando, Florida; her son Kirk Moody, of Seminole, Florida, and his wife Lyn; along with grandchildren Dylan, Samantha, and Zayne, and a great grandchild Beau.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Kenneth Buell.

In lieu of any celebration of life, Jackie requested that everyone just raise a glass and enjoy each other’s company.
