Girl Scouts of Maine selects Patricia St. Clair as June Volunteer of the Month
Patricia St. Clair, a Knox County volunteer from Saint George, is the Girl Scouts of Maine's Volunteer of the Month of June. St. Clair is currently involved as a volunteer within the Knox Service Unit where she helps organize events, activities, and supports the growth of Girl Scouts in her community.
The volunteer of the month is a prestigious title recognized by GSME. It is awarded monthly to an adult volunteer who has demonstrated exceptional dedication and efforts within the organization to benefit Girl Scouts statewide.
"Patricia’s dedication is also shown by her achievements of the prestigious President’s Award, a well-deserved recognition of her outstanding service and leadership," said GSME. "As a troop leader, Patricia empowers and inspires countless girls, organizes events and activities, and guides them through their Girl Scout journey.
"Patricia’s commitment, passion, and dedication to always give her best and be there to support her troop makes her an invaluable part of the Girl Scouts of Maine," said GSME.
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs across the state of Maine and beyond, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
