Get to know Georges River Land Trust at conservation happy hour
Get to know Georges River Land Trust at a conservation happy hour, Monday, Sept. 8, from 5 - 7 p.m., at Lake St. George Brewing Company. This event is a chance to learn who Georges River Land Trust is, where their 22 preserves and 75+ miles of trails are located, and provide feedback about what kinds of trails, events, and materials you want to see from the land trust.
This event will take place at Lake St. George Brewing Company's outdoor patio. There will be wooden picnic tables and standing tables. Snacks and pizza by the slice will be available for purchase. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside the taproom.
Georges River Land Trust wants to hear about your favorite trails, where you want to see more opportunities for access and recreation, why conservation is important to you, and what kinds of events and educational opportunities the land trust can provide.
Lake St. George Brewing Company is located in Liberty, Maine near the land trust’s Haystack Mountain Preserve and Quigg Island Preserve.
"Meet land trust staff, pick up some trail maps, and enjoy the scenic outdoor patio on the shores of Lake St. George," said GRLT.
This event is open to everyone. RSVP at georgesriver.org/events.
