The French connection

The French riots have been attributed to disgruntled students and others protesting education policies. With 57% 0f the French GDP going to education, this can't possibly be true. I submit that these pervasive, organized protests are coming from leftist socialists who are tearing at the very fabric of French society.
These protests should serve as a warning to America. With socialists here proposing the end of our Presidency, the Senate, and the Supreme Court, as well as "Medicare for all" with an impossible trillion dollar cost, we are on the verge of riots similar to those in France.
A whole is the sum of its parts. The midcoast of Maine is a tiny population part of the U.S.A. whole. How we vote will have an impact on how our country is governed going forward. The Democrat party has candidates who are avowed socialists. The Republican party has none. I urge Mainers to give serious thought to the socialist threat and give their vote to Senator Susan Collins and governor candidate, Bobby Charles, both of whom abhor socialism.
