Film Club for Adults at Rockland Public Library, Feb. 9
Film Club for Adults takes place Monday, February 9, in the Board Room at the Rockland Public Library.
"It’s like a book club but with movies!" said RPL, in a news release.
Watch the selected film on your own and then join the group for a lively discussion each month. Plots, themes, characters, soundtracks, symbolism, cinematography, and more are all discussion options. From casual viewers to cinephiles, all levels of interest in film are welcome. Participants can request the selected film through interlibrary loan or find it on various streaming services.
This month’s discussion is centered on the 2013 drama Like Father, Like Son from the Japanese filmmaker Hirokazu Kore-eda.
The Rockland Public Library is located at 80 Union St.
