'Fill the Bus, Feed WCTC Students' donation drive ensures that no student goes hungry
This November, Waldo County Technical Center (WCTC) is calling on its community to help ensure that no student goes hungry.
"With the recent end of SNAP benefits, many local families may face food insecurity — but together, we can make a difference," said WCTC.
“Fill the Bus — Feed WCTC Students” drive invites everyone to donate nonperishable food and essential supplies. A school bus will be parked on campus, ready to be filled with generosity and care.
Donations can be dropped off through November 14, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., at Waldo County Technical Center 1022 Waterville Road, Waldo, Maine.
Most Needed Items:
• Canned fruits, vegetables, soups, and proteins (tuna, chicken, beans)
• Pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter
• Toiletries, paper goods, and household staples Every can, box, and item adds up to real help for students and families across Waldo County.
"Together, we can fill the bus — and fill hearts," said WCTC.
