Field Hockey final standings, playoff pairings announced
The 2018 field hockey regular season has come to a close and two local teams have qualified for the playoffs.
Here are the final regular season records for all the teams in our coverage area as well as the playoff seeds and opening round playoff games.
The regional quarterfinals will be held Tuesday, Oct. 16 or Wednesday, Oct. 17. The regional semifinals will be held Saturday, Oct. 20 with the regional finals set for Tuesday, Oct. 23. The state championships will held Saturday, Oct. 27.

Playoff Pairings
In Class B, Belfast earned a bye in the preliminary round. In Class C, there is no primary round.
Class B Quarterfinals: #4 Belfast will host #5 Maine Central Institute.
Class C Quarterfinals: #3 Mount View will host #6 Maranacook.
