Falls Prevention Workshop at Rockland Public Library

Vikki Webster will present a Falls Prevention Workshop, Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 1 p.m., in the Rockland Public Library’s Community Room. This program is based on a partnership between the Library and MaineHealth Center for Health Improvement Community Health department at Pen Bay and Waldo Hospitals.
Participants will explore common concerns about falling, discover effective ways to reduce their risk, and participate in gentle Tai Chi and strength and balance exercises. They'll also leave with a personalized action plan to help reduce your risk of falling and improve your confidence, according to the news release.
