I gave out misinformation about how to get a Covid appointment in yesterday’s Pilot article. The phone number I gave was not meant for scheduling appointments and has been taken down due to the large number of calls that came in.

For anyone who is 70 or over and waiting to get an appointment for the Covid vaccine, this is the protocol:

First, pre-register by calling 1-877-780-7545. This puts you in line for an appointment. If you’ve already pre-registered, you will be called when your turn comes up. This is all a function of how much vaccine is available each week. Patience is the key word here.
