Join Georges River Land Trust on Sunday, October 5 for a group paddle along the St. George River from Warren town center.

"This is a great time of year to admire fall foliage along the river," said GRLT. "After the paddle, by sure to stop by St. George Pizza where a partial proceeds fundraiser will support local conservation efforts."

10 a.m.: Bring your canoe, kayak, or paddle board for a group paddle on the St. George River. Parking and river access is available at Riverside Drive, in Warren.

11 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Visit St. George Pizza in Warren for pizza, drinks, and ice cream with partial proceeds supporting the land trust's work to conserve and care for the Georges River watershed. The Land Trust's table will provide information about a new paddling trail and local hiking spots.

St. George Pizza is located at 310 Main St., in Warren. No reservations are needed. 

Paddlers should bring their own personal flotation device. All paddlers are required to have one accessible to them on the water by Maine law. Children under 10 must wear a PFD at all times while on the water.
