Charles Resh, obituary
BELFAST — Charles Alden William Resh, 24, of Belfast, Maine, passed away unexpectedly in Ellsworth, Maine, on October 1, 2024.
Charles was born on May 2, 2000, in Belfast, Maine. While in school, Charles was an honor student, and passionate about being a part of the culinary arts program. He was honored to volunteer several hundred hours providing meals for the less fortunate in the community. His dream was to own and operate his very own food truck.
When Charles was not working, you could find him spending time with his beloved pup, Titan. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cribbage with his Puppa Bill, hunting, and spending time outdoors, had dreams of building his own home from lumber he had been collecting, and he wanted to mill it all, himself.
Charles never gave up his search for his father, Charles Resh Sr, who has been missing since 2021.
He is predeceased by his paternal, grandfather, Donald Resh Sr, and survived by much of his loving family, including his one and only little brother, Cyrus Resh; his Nana, Sharon Linscott, of Swanville, Maine, whom he had a very special bond with; his mother, Heidi Resh, of Swanville, whom he often called “Willis” in good fun; his grampa Stanley Bailey, of Searsport; uncle Albert Rhodes, of Swanville; uncle Stanley Bailey, of Milo; Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Richard Robbins, of Deer Isle; his grammy Pat Resh; uncle Don Resh Jr., along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
