Celebration of Henry Knox’s 276th and Americas 250th with Knox Museum

Saturday, July 25, 2026 - 10:30 amThe annual memorial service to honor the life of Revolutionary War Hero Major General Henry Knox will take place July 25, at 10:30 a.m., at the Thomaston Village Cemetery.
The Maine and New Hampshire Sons of the American Revolution and Col. Henry Knox Regimental Colors Guards will begin the ceremony with a Revolutionary War period color guard followed by the laying of the wreaths. Morris Berry-St. George will be the guest speaker this year. His talk will focus on Knox's life after his service to our country.
Following the memorial service at the cemetery, there will be a reception at the General Henry Knox Museum, 30 High Street, Thomaston, with lunch, birthday cake, crafts, kid’s games and more in celebration of Henry Knox’s 276th and Americas 250th Birthday.
