Camden paid parking program implementation delayed another month, per Select Board
CAMDEN — At their May 19 regularly scheduled Camden Select Board meeting, members voted 4 to 1 (Ken Gross voting no) to delay the rollout of the new paid parking program until June 22.

During their regular meeting Tuesday night, May 19, the Camden Select Board held a discussion about expanded paid parking, which was not on the meeting agenda.
Following the brief discussion, the board voted to delay the start of expanded paid parking to Monday, June 22. Watch the meeting here.
Resident Permit stickers have not arrived from the printer, but parking enforcement is not by sticker so displaying one is not a requirement to receive permit benefits. Enforcement is by scanning license plates, not stickers.

Quick Details:Green lines indicate paid parking spaces.
Blue lines indicate spaces that are free for two hours.
The lot behind the Knox Mill and the upper lot next to the fire station, as well as unmarked streets are free all day unless signs say otherwise.
$2/hour, minimum is 30 minutes ($1) with 15-minute increments.
Parking is enforced through Oct. 31, Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (except on the Public Landing, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.) and Sunday, noon-6 p.m. (except on the Public Landing, noon-8 p.m.)
