Boothbay Railway Village Museum opens Father’s Day

Fri, 06/17/2022 - 8:30am

On Sunday, June 19 at 10 a.m., the Boothbay Railway Village Museum, Route 27, Boothbay will open for the season. It’s Father’s Day on Sunday and all Dads get to ride the train for free.

Come check out what the staff and volunteers have been working on since the facility closed last December. Be sure to read the June 2022 edition of the Village Voice, attached here, for more information. The newsletter includes a list of some of the main events during the summer.

Some of the things “new” this year include new flooring in the auto museum; the toy store, closed for the past few years, has been refurbished and ready to be enjoyed; and the Iron Horse Antiques Store has added items of interest. The store has its own Facebook page featuring daily updates.

The Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
