Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported the following activity June 12-24.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
June 12
Brett S. MacDonald, 61, of Searsport, was issued a summons for operating with an expired license greater than 90 days on Lincolnville Ave.
June 13
Benjamin W. Staples, 30, of Belfast, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Swan Lake Ave.
June 15
Kenneth Thompson, 42, of Rockport, was arrested for refusing to submit to arrest or detention and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Front Street.
June 18
Corey S. Boruff, 31, of Morristown, Tennessee, was arrested for violating a protective order on Route 1 in Belfast.
