Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — Belfast Police reported two traffic citations between July 6-15. One citation was issued for imprudent speed and the other citation was issued for operating a motor vehicle while using a handheld device. In addition to the two traffic citations, the following activity was reported. 

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named. 

    July 6

    Meldon Bates, 56, of Belfast, was issued a summons for criminal trespass and violating a condition of release on High Street. 

    July 7

    Eugene W. Littlefield, 65, of Belfast, was issued a summons for sexual abuse of a minor on Poors Mill Road, stemming from an incident March 16. 

    July 8

    Jacob A. Frace, 20, of Belfast, was issued summonses for operating without a license and imprudent speed on Miller Street. 

    July 12

    Jeffrey Rumney, 54, of Belfast, was arrested for domestic violence assault, and domestic violence terrorizing on Back Belmont Road in Belmont.

    July 14

    Brittany T. Saucier, 21, of Belfast, was arrested for failure to appear and issued summonses for operating after suspension, violating a condition of release. 

    Christopher Seidl, 25, of Searsmont, was arrested for unauthorized use of property and violating a condition of release on Pitcher Road.
