Becca Biggs to perform for Bay Chamber's Maine Music Series
Singer/songwriter Becca Biggs offers something new for Bay Chamber's Maine Music Series, Sunday, Feb. 8, at 4 p.m., at Hammer Hall. Biggs' music is steeped in alt country, indie rock, and bit of folk, according to Bay Chamber Concerts & Music School, in a news release.
"I'm looking forward to playing this music series," said Biggs, in the news release. "I will be performing all originals with my band, and we'll be playing alt-country and indie rock."
"Biggs is one of a growing group of bands and solo artists, solidifying Midcoast Maine's reputation as an up-and-coming musical center. And she is one of the most sought-after artists," said Bay Chamber. "But don't try to pigeonhole Biggs. Normal parameters are out the door."
Biggs is joined by an all-star band of seasoned collaborators, according to Bay Chamber: guitarist J.R. Braugh, drummer Sam Yawdik, and bassist/guitarist Zack Bence.
