On Tuesday, January 27, restoration ecologist Amy Thomas will tell Camden Rotary Club members and guests how native plants can beautify our surroundings, conserve water, reduce pollution, and support wildlife.
Thomas has a master's degree in ecological restoration and native rangeland management from Texas A&M and has worked on properties large and small, preserving and enhancing biodiversity for wildlife.
A nationally certified Green Infrastructure Practitioner, Thomas owns Keystone Native Habitat & Landscape. She is the 2025 winner of the Sustainable Landscape Category in the Green Home + Design Awards, presented by Green & Healthy Maine HOMES magazine, for a recent client collaboration in Camden.
Visitors are welcome to attend the club's noontime meeting at the Congregational Church in Camden during the club's meeting at 12:00 p.m. Click here for other club news and Zoom connection details for online participation.
