5th annual Owls Head Pumpkin Walk heads to Transportation Museum trails

Friday, October 23, 2026 - 05:30 pm to 07:30 pmThe annual Owls Head Pumpkin Walk returns for the 5th year, Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 24, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Previously held at Plaisted Preserve, the walks will now take place along the trails behind the Owls Head Transportation Museum.
Experience the magic of nearly 150 glowing Jack-o’-lanterns, carved or donated by friends, neighbors, and community members, said a Georges River Land Trust news release.
These events are free and open to all ages. Halloween costumes are encouraged.
"The Owls Head Conservation Commission is excited to partner with Georges River Land Trust and the Owls Head Transportation Museum to bring the magic back," said the news release.
On Friday, the pumpkin walk will be part of the Owls Head Transportation Museum’s Night at the Museum event. Learn more at owlshead.org/event/night-at-the-museum.
"Come in costume, explore the museum, meet characters from history, enjoy activities and candy, and help us give back to our community," said the news release.
