2026 Wings and Wheels Airshow at Owls Head Transportation Museum
OWLS HEAD — Historic aircraft, world-class aerobatic performers, legendary warbirds, and classic vehicles will come together at the 2026 Wings & Wheels Airshow, August 1 - 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Owls Head Transportation Museum.
"The Wings & Wheels Airshow delivers a unique blend of aviation excitement and transportation history," said OHTM, in a news release. "Visitors will experience thrilling aerial performances, historic aircraft demonstrations, classic and antique vehicles, family STEM activities, and interactive museum experiences that showcase innovation on land and in the air."
Featured airshow performers
"This year's lineup includes an exciting collection of nationally recognized performers and historic aircraft," said OHTM, which provides the following descriptions:
Scott Francis Airshows: Known for his high-energy aerobatic routines, Scott Francis will fill the skies with breathtaking loops, rolls, and precision maneuvers in his high-performance aircraft.
Vacationland Jumps: Opening the show each day, Vacationland Jumps will wow crowds with a precision skydiving demonstration.
Time Flies Air Show: Experience the beauty and skill of sailplane flight as Time Flies Air Show demonstrates the art of glider aviation.
American Airpower Museum: Visitors will have the rare opportunity to see iconic World War II-era warbirds from the American Airpower Museum, including the P-40 Warhawk, P-51 Mustang, and TBM-3E Avenger. Joining them will be the legendary C-47 Skytrain, one of the most important military transport aircraft of World War II. The C-47 will once again be offering ride experiences Friday through Sunday, giving aviation enthusiasts a unique opportunity to fly aboard a historic aircraft that played a critical role in airborne operations and military transport missions. Together, these aircraft represent some of the most recognizable and influential military aviation designs ever built and are sure to be among the highlights of the weekend.
More Than an Airshow
While the skies provide the main attraction, Wings & Wheels offers plenty to explore on the ground, according to OHTM. "Returning this year, The Wheelmen will once again delight visitors with their entertaining vintage bicycle demonstrations, showcasing the history and evolution of early cycling."

The museum's collection of rare and historic aircraft and vehicles will be showcased throughout the event, bringing transportation history to life for visitors of all ages.
Exhibitors welcome: Owners of classic, custom, and special-interest vehicles are invited to participate in the event. Exhibitors arriving with vehicles that are 35 years old or older receive complimentary admission for the driver and one passenger. Participants are encouraged to display their vehicles for the duration of the event day whenever possible.
Special Information for motorcyclists: Motorcycles are an important part of transportation history and are welcome to join the festivities.
Motorcycles of all ages are invited to participate, with a dedicated display area available throughout the weekend. Complimentary exhibitor admission is reserved for motorcycles that are 35 years old or older. Riders displaying newer motorcycles are encouraged to exhibit but will be required to purchase regular event admission.
