Roger Williams University Announces Spring 2023 Dean's List
BRISTOL, RI (06/20/2023) — Select students have been named to the Spring 2023 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Shenandoah University Announces Over 1,100 Graduates
WINCHESTER, VA (06/22/2023) — Benjamin Anto, of Camden, ME, was among the 1,143 students who graduated from Shenandoah University during the 2022-23 academic year.
Anto earned a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Shenandoah had 200 August 2022 graduates, 295 December 2022 graduates, and 648 May 2023 graduates. Shenandoah's 2023 commencement ceremony took place on May 20 in the James R. Wilkins, Jr. Athletics and Events Center.

Colin Donovan Graduates from Delaware Law School
WILMINGTON, DE (06/26/2023) — Widener University Delaware Law School proudly recognized the exceptional achievements of its 230 law school graduates during its commencement ceremony on the campus lawn Friday, May 19. The graduates, amidst heartfelt applause, individually crossed the stage to receive their degrees and were personally congratulated by Widener University President Stacey Robertson.
The ceremony featured an address by U.S. Magistrate Judge Scott W. Reid, of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Reid, a 2002 graduate of the law school, passionately reminded the graduates of their educational journey, their inherent identity, and the profound responsibilities they bear as future legal professionals.
He also shared wisdom acquired from his decades of experience in the legal profession.
"Throughout your career, you will have to utilize your competitive advantage if you want to succeed. I guarantee that from the moment you depart this campus as a graduate, you will be tested. And when you are tested, you need to draw on the competitive advantage Delaware Law has provided you. Because when you begin to practice law, you are going to be successful," he said.
The graduates hailed from five countries and represented 14 states. They included:

Emily Kerivan Graduates from the University of Mississippi
UNIVERSITY, MS (06/26/2023) — Emily Kerivan, of Warren, ME, is among the more than 3,100 students who earned their degrees from the University of Mississippi in May 2023.
Kerivan, who majored in Biomedical Engineering, received a B.S.B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from the School of Engineering.
"Our May 2023 class of graduates are distinguished by incredible achievements, character and resilience," said Chancellor Glenn Boyce. "They accomplished so much during their years at Ole Miss, and we can't wait to see all the ways they will pursue their passions and reach their full potential on their paths to a bright future."
May 2023 graduates were invited to walk across the stage at the University of Mississippi's 170th Commencement exercises, which were held by individual colleges and schools May 10-14. The universitywide morning convocation took place on Saturday, May 13 in the Grove, with UM alumna Stephanie Hickman, president and CEO of Trice Construction Co., giving the keynote address.
Undergraduate and graduate candidates received degrees from the College of Liberal Arts, General Studies and schools of Accountancy, Applied Sciences, Business Administration, Education, Engineering, Journalism and New Media, Law and Pharmacy.

Local residents named to Clark University's Spring 2023 Dean's List
WORCESTER, MA (06/26/2023) — The following local residents were named to Clark University's Spring 2023 Dean's List:
Jackie C. Daggett, of Thomaston, ME, was named to second honors.
Brexton E. Getchell, of Unity, ME, was named to second honors.
Andrew H. McBride, of Searsmont, ME, was named to first honors.
Caleb J. Sacks, of Palermo, Maine, was named to second honors.
Matthew Thomas Jeffery Young, of South Thomaston, Maine, was named to first honors.
Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.
