NOBLEBORO — The seventh grade softball team at Medomak Middle School opened the 2022 Busline League season Tuesday, April 26 on the road against Nobleboro/Jefferson, and began the season with a 10-0 victory in a rain-shortened five-and-a-half inning contest.

Sidney Nicholls worked the pitcher’s circle for the visiting Riverhawks and tossed a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts, four walks and four batters hit by pitches. 

At the plate for Medomak were Arie Kennard (single, walk), Sideny Nicholls (three walks), Rachel Barbour (two singles, walk), Jennika Schumann (single), Grace Havener (single, two walks), Ivy McCollett (walk), Grace Townsend (single), Ivy Lee (walk), Alyse Courte (two walks) and Paige Gerlack (single, walk).
