Incumbent William “Bill” Pluecker, an independent, was challenged this election cycle in the race for State House District 95 by Republican Molly Luce.
The district serves the communities of Appleton, Hope, part of Union and Warren.
Pluecker, according to his PenBayPilot.com candidate questionnaire, has grown vegetables and raised cows on a nearly 100 acre farm in Warren for more than 15 years, while instilling the values of farming to the youth through an apprenticeship program.
Luce, according to her PenBayPilot.com candidate questionnaire, co-owns Luce Transportation, which serves as local bus contractors for the community, and founded SafeCare, which transports children with special needs or behavioral issues statewide.
