Several citizens return papers for Appleton seats; Select Board convenes via Zoom

    APPLETON — While COVID-19 has impeded normal municipal business and town offices are closed, town election processes remain underway in Appleton, including the return of nomination papers for those seeking office at June polls.

    So far:

    David Gould has returned papers for road commissioner.

    Jacob Boyington has taken papers for road commissioner.

    Gary Roberts has taken out Planning Board Papers.

    Lorie Costigan has taken papers for Select Board.

    Appleton’s Select Board has five seats; two of them are open in June. They are currently occupied by Costigan and Charles Garrigan.

    The Select Board meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Appleton Town Hall. 

    These days, members are convening via Zoom.

    008 off Lower Rd. filed on March 31, 2020. The deadline for filing was March 20, 2020. Should be denied.
