Messalonskee stuns Windjammers in ice hockey quarterfinals

ROCKPORT — During its impressive regular season, the third-seeded Camden Hills varsity ice hockey team only lost four times, including once to Messalonskee in mid-December, with each loss being by no more than three goals. 

At the Midcoast Recreation Center for a Tuesday, Feb. 25 Class B North regional quarterfinal contest, the host Windjammers, once again, fell to sixth-seeded Messalonskee, this time by a 6-1 defeat. 

No other details from the game were available at publishing time. 

With the quarterfinal loss, the season has concluded for the Windjammers leaving Camden Hills with an 11-5-3 record for the season.
