Saturday, March 28, 2026 - 06:00 pmGeorges River Trout Unlimited and Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust are co-sponsoring the 20th Annual Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) as it celebrates two decades of adventure. The event takes place March 28, at The Waldo Theatre, in Waldoboro. Doors open at 6 p.m.
The Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) marks "two decades of unforgettable stories, breathtaking landscapes, and a community bound by a passion for fly fishing," said GRTU, in a news release. "This milestone year promises to be a landmark event, as the tour kicks off with a fresh collection of the finest fly fishing films from across the globe."
Anglers, explorers, and outdoor enthusiasts are invited to experience this special edition of the tour as it travels to cities nationwide.
"Featuring stunning cinematography, compelling narratives, and adrenaline-filled moments on the water, the 20th Annual F3T is a tribute to the spirit of adventure and the enduring fly fishing culture that has grown with the tour over the past twenty years," said GRTU.
This year’s lineup dives deeper than ever—spotlighting wild places, inspiring conservation stories, and the dedicated individuals who live and breathe fly fishing.
"Whether you’re a lifelong angler or new to the sport, the 2026 tour delivers a cinematic journey that’s sure to cast a lasting impression," said the release.
GRTU invites those who wish to share Fish Tales and enjoy a beverage together before the show to come when the doors open. GRTU will be conducting a raffle and a silent auction; GRTU member and novelist Paul Guernsey will be selling signed copies of his new novel, Rolling Back the River (cash only); and GRTU will be accepting old, leaky waders to donate to Maine Fly Company’s Repurposed Waders program.
Online tickets are available for $10 in advance, $15 the day of the event. Youth tickets are $5. Tickets are available at the box office starting at 6 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
