Winter Adventure Series to hear of Monster the Loch 2025 Rowing Race in Loch Ness Scotland

Tuesday, February 10, 2026 - 06:30 pmWinter Adventure Series continues Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 6:30 p.m., with a slide presentation about the Monster the Loch 2025 Rowing Race in Loch Ness Scotland.
The Winter Adventure Series is coordinated by Come Boating, Belfast’s Community Boating Organization and the Belfast Free Library.
In September 2025, two teams from Belfast, Maine traveled to Scotland to compete in the Monster the Loch Race along the length of Loch Ness.
"Come hear the incredible tale from 8 rowers and 2 coxwains who rowed in this challenging 21 miles of cold Scottish Loch against strange row boats from all over the world, stinging nettles, men in kilts, and a shy monster," said Belfast Free Library, in a news release.
