Watch the woodcocks dance with Georges River Land Trust

Join GRLT on Wednesday, March 25, at 6:30 p.m., at Trolley Marsh Preserve, in Warren, to watch, learn, and share in the excitement of the changing seasons.
Gail Presley, avid birder and board member of Midcoast Audubon, will provide interpretation about the American woodcock, why they dance, where they live, and what makes them so special.

Please wear waterproof boots and warm layers. A folding chair or something to keep you dry while sitting on the ground is recommended. Some tarps will be provided.
Directions: From Route 1 in Thomaston, travel north on Route 131 for 2.2 miles. There is a parking lot at 790 Oyster River Road (Route 131) in Warren.
Georges River Land Trust has been conserving and caring for the St. George River watershed since 1987. The land trust has conserved over 5,400 acres of forest, farm, and shoreline, and provides over 80 miles of public trails in 19 towns from Cushing to Liberty.
