Peoples United Methodist Church of Union will be offering a Warming Station for Chilled Trick or Treaters on Halloween evening, Oct. 31, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the church. A responsible adult must accompany and supervise their children.

Pastor Aiden will have an Amazing Maze ready for the children to work their way through and then complete their visit in the fellowship hall of the church where they are welcome to enjoy a beverage of warm cider or hot chocolate, as well as fresh baked cookies. Hot coffee and cookies will also be available to supervising adults. Refreshments are at no charge; donations will be accepted and appreciated, according to the Church, in a news release.

As the children leave the building there will be two responsible adult church members in the parking lot to ensure that children are safe and secure. Parked cars will also be monitored to avoid damage or inconvenience.

"Church members are looking forward to the excited energy of the children and the joy on their faces," said the news release. "Please join us."

The church is located at 21 Depot Street, Rte 235, in Union, behind the Union Post Office.
