Waldo County Sheriff's beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Dec. 21 - Jan. 8.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Dec. 21
Hunter Penney, 21, of Liberty, was arrested for criminal operating under the influence on Waterville Road in Waldo.
Dec. 26
Sarah Giles, 29, of Clinton, was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child on School Street in Unity.
Dec. 30
Pernell Finney, 42, was arrested on affidavits.
Jan. 1
Seth Shapiro, 23, of Unity, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Main Street in Unity.
Jan. 2
Michaela B. Greenleaf, 27, of Frankfort, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on N. Searsport Road in Swanville.
Jan. 4
Jewel L. Prior, 28, of Owls Head, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 3 in Belmont.
James Leathers, 51, of Brooks, was issued a summons for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon on Purple Heart Highway in Brooks Nov. 13.
