Shakespeare’s Valentine opens new programming season at Quarry Hill
Quarry Hill is offering a special pre-Valentine event, featuring members of the Rockland Shakespeare Society, Thursday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m., at the Anderson Inn.
"Celebrate love and language as together we delve into the romantic themes woven throughout Shakespeare’s works," said Quarry Hill, in a news release. "We’ll explore the timeless beauty of his sonnets and scenes—capturing passion, devotion, and the complexities of the heart—through engaging readings, performances, and lively discussion."
Part of Quarry Hill’s ongoing enrichment series designed for adults aged 50 and better, the program is free, but advance registration is required. To sign up, please call Quarry Hill at 301-6116 or email qhinfo@mainehealth.org.
