On Saturday, May 2, at 7 p.m., Maine songwriters Sara Trunzo, Skip Bailey, and Seth Gallant will perform in the round for an evening of heartfelt folk, country, and roots music, at Underground Lounge in Belfast. 

Located at 17 Court Street, the Underground Lounge is a volunteer-run, DIY music series committed to sustaining live music through Maine’s long off-season.

Sara Trunzo is a Maine-based independent singer-songwriter, community organizer, and host of Country & Northeastern on WERU Community Radio. Her music draws deeply from her adopted coastal home and the characters within it, as heard on her 2021 EP Cabin Fever Dream. Trunzo has collaborated with Darrell Scott and Mary Gauthier, shared stages with artists such as Suzy Bogguss and Carlene Carter, and performed at venues including The Bluebird, Rockwood Music Hall, and Club Passim. Skip Bailey, an award-winning Maine-based songwriter, is a folk and country artist who writes salt of the earth songs for salt of the earth people.
