Reelect Nicole Kalloch to Rockland City Council
As someone who has been directly involved through the years in key organizations and committees intended to bring improvements and positive attention to Rockland, I support Nicole Kalloch in her campaign for reelection to City Council.
In my former volunteer board leadership roles in the Rockland Share The Pride Association; the Rockland-Thomaston Area Chamber of Commerce; the Rockland Kiwanis Club; the original Rockland Coast Guard City Committee; various other City economic and community development committees; and as the former executive director of the City's downtown revitalization organization, Rockland Main Street, Inc., and as the Interim President/CEO of the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce, I have worked with and observed many dedicated elected public servants.
Nicole ranks high on that list.I first met and worked with Nicole six years ago when she made the decision to bring jobs to the City through Sierra Peaks, the high tech manufacturing company that she manages. I was impressed by her work ethic and professionalism throughout that process.
Since her election three years ago, I have watched her grow and evolve as a caring, knowledgeable and seasoned member of City Council. She has matured significantly in the past year as she has served as Mayor.
Nicole has worked hard to prove herself and if I were a resident of Rockland, I would vote to reelect her to the Rockland City Council for a second term.
