Peter Alan Thomas, obituary
LINCOLNVILLE — Peter Alan Thomas, 73, passed away May 20, 2025. He was born August 12, 1951, in New Britain, Connecticut, son of Ann Boardman and Alan Thomas. He was a lifetime resident of Lincolnville and a member of the Camden Rockport High School class of 1970.
Peter found peace in the outdoors; whether it be foraging for mushrooms, hunting this year’s buck, moose hunting ‘up north’, or fishing on Coleman Pond.
Over the years Peter traveled many times to Rosia, Italy, with his latest trip in 2023. Each time he visited he left another piece of his heart there and would return with countless stories to share. Peter was a collector of many things, with memories and friends being at the top of the list.
Never too busy to help someone, he would drop everything for a friend, no matter if it was to build a deck or just to sit and talk.
Peter was a Master Mason as a brother of King Davids Lodge in Lincolnville Beach. He just recently received his 50-year medallion.
Peter is predeceased by both of his parents.
He leaves behind his son, Zachary Thomas and wife Ashley Thomas of Naples; his adored grandchildren, Abbott and Taytum; his godson, Tyler; his beloved pup Archie; countless friends and the town of Lincolnville that he loved so much.
To honor Peter’s memory; show up for the people in your life, take a long walk in the woods or just sit and watch the birds.
Plans for a celebration to remember Peter and his late father, Alan Thomas, will follow later this year.
