New art exhibit at Pen Bay Medical Center through Nov. 25
ROCKPORT — A new art exhibit at Pen Bay Medical Center features works by Judy O’Dell, Susan Garrett, Pat Nelson, Andre Benoit and Hillary Mishcon along the walls of the hospital’s main hallway.
The display is part of an ongoing effort at Pen Bay to display local artists, with each required to have a connection to Maine or New England, throughout the hospital. Each artist answered a call for artists in the spring and was selected by a committee of care team members.
Each exhibit includes QR codes, which can be scanned by a smartphone or tablet, to provide additional information about the featured artists.
The current exhibit is on display until Nov. 25, with the next scheduled to be displayed from Nov. 11 to Jan. 27, 2025.
