The two teams came into the game with opposite records on the season making it look like the Eagles would sail past the Windjammers without too much trouble. However this is why we play the games, you never know. While the Eagles won the game 59-49 this game was much closer with the Windjammers giving the Eagles all they could handle.
Mt. Ararat goes to 10-3 with the win while Camden Hills falls to 2-12 with four games left in the regular season. The Windjammers are not out of the playoff hunt and they have some big games coming up that one win might just be enough.
Scoring for the Windjammers were, Noah Heidorn with 17 points; Dalton Oakes and Morgan Ford 11 each; Gavin Boyd and Devin Vangel had three each; and Julian Starbird and Gage Corson two each.
The Windjammers were 18-of-30 (60 percent) from the foul line. Oakes had the only 3-pointer.
For Mt. Ararat, Shyheim Ulricjson had 26 points; Alex Lafountain 10; Eric Segars eight; Cameron Cox seven; Zach Garvey and Jacob Steinman three each; and Cole Guerin and Ryan Mello one each.
Morse was 25-of-35 (72 percent) from the foul line.
