PITTSFIELD — Three local wrestling teams found success on Friday, Dec. 28 at the Maine Central Institute Winter Classic with Medomak Valley, Mount View and Oceanside each competing in the 17 team event. 

Medomak Valley finished second with 118 points, Mount View finished ninth with 51 points and Oceanside finished 12th with 21 points. 

Individually for Medomak Valley, Reese Hesseltine finished fourth (106 pounds), Gavin Readinger third (113 pounds), Elias Miller first (160 pounds), Amos Hinkley first (170 pounds), Tyler Cox fourth (182 pounds), Jacob Gess second (195 pounds) and Erik Benner second (220 pounds). 

Individually for Mount View, Morgan Fonger finished third (126 pounds), Mark Ward first (145 pounds) and Nathaniel Fuller second (285 pounds). 

Individually for Oceanside, Alexander Fogarty finished second (145 pounds).
