On Thursday June 1, Medomak Middle School's eighth grade baseball team hosted St. George  for a No. 3 vs. No. 6 preliminary round of the North Division playoffs. Medomak prevailed 26 -0 in 5 innings.

The two teams had met three times in eight days, including back-to-back games into the playoffs.

Throwing for the Riverhawks were Jacoby Severson, 1 hit, 7 strikeouts in 4 innings, and Nick Bowman, 0 hits, 2 strikeouts to finish the game.

For the St. George team, Ezra started with Asa and Tucker helping out. Medomak got production at the plate from Landon Morrison, who hit his first Middle School home run to go along with two singles and four runs scored.

Also chipping in were Severson (three singles, five runs), Liam Feeley (single, triple, four runs), Avery Kunesh-Lowe (two singles, run), Keith Miller (double, two runs), Gavin Ambridge (single, run), Zac Curtis (single, run), Bowman (single),  Jacoby Miller (three runs), Liam Ruffner (two runs), Nick Russo (two runs), Ashton Kunesh-Lowe (run).

St. George's lone hit came from Bradley.
