ROCKLAND — The Medomak Valley and Oceanside varsity baseball teams met for the regular season finale on Wednesday, May 29. 

Playing in Rockland, the visiting Panthers were able to secure a 9-4 victory over the host Mariners. 

With the win, Medomak Valley concluded its season 13-3. 

Oceanside, meanwhile, concluded its season 4-12. 

Medomak Valley plated three runs in the fourth inning, two in the sixth and four in the seventh. 

Oceanside tallied one run in each the fifth and sixth innings and two in the seventh frame. 

Medomak Valley recorded 10 hits and committed two errors, while Oceanside had six hits and five errors. 

The Medomak Valley offensive charge was lead by Carson Murphy (two singles, two doubles, three runs, three RBIs). 

Contributing to Oceanside’s offense were Austin Chilles (two singles, RBI), Ben Ripley (double) and Alec Sirois (double).
