ROCKPORT — MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital welcomes Mark Wallace, DO, to its Ear, Nose and Throat Care Rockport practice.

Dr. Wallace comes to Pen Bay Hospital from Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, USA, where he spent the past six years as a general otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon. Prior to that, he spent more than seven years as a general otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon at Sault Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery, PC in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. Dr. Wallace also spent three years as a general otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon at Tri-County Medical Associates in Milford, Massachusetts.

An otolaryngologist is a physician specializing in diagnosing and treating disorders of the ears, nose, throat, head and neck.

Dr. Wallace completed his residency in otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Mich, in 2007. He earned his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, in 2002.
