KIHEI, Hawaii — Kenneth P. Gricus, 62 of Kihei, Maui, Hawaii, formerly of Camden, Maine, passed away June 2, 2025, at Maui Memorial Medical Center, from injuries sustained in a moped accident on May 28. Known as K.P., he was a 1980 graduate of Camden – Rockport High School.

He is survived by his father, Kenneth J. Gricus of Camden; his sisters, Angela Bryant and her partner Joseph Webster of North Rose, New York, and Carolyn Costello and her husband William of West Warwick, Rhode Island; several nieces and nephews, and a long-standing friend Nicole Dacheco of Kihei, Hawaii.

His mother Mary Gricus and brothers Joseph and Louis predeceased him.

A private memorial service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, Lincolnville in August. In accordance with K.P.’s wishes, part of his ashes will be scattered at sea.
