Household hazardous waste drop-off event is being held Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Belfast Transfer Station, 32 Little River Drive.

From the garage/basement: Fuel / Gas / Kerosene, Automotive Fluids, Roofing Tar, Paint Stripper / Thinner, Antifreeze, Car Wax / Polish, Pool Chemicals, Solvents / Adhesives, Engine Degreaser, Driveway Sealer, Paint / Stain / Varnish, Lighter Fluid
From the yard: Insecticide / Bug Spray, Rat Poison, Fungicide / Herbicide, Chemical Fertilizer
Household hazardous waste only. No electronic waste accepted. Follow signs and traffic cones to form a line.
How much: $30 (residents) $35 (non-residents) per 5 gallons or 20 pounds. Cash or check only.
