SAINT GEORGE — The Girl Scouts of Troop 1693 have recently completed a truly remarkable Bronze Award project that highlights their dedication and commitment to community service. The Girl Scout Bronze Award—the highest honor a Junior can earn—is achieved when Girl Scout Juniors focus on an issue they care about in their community and take action to make a difference. Through this ambitious endeavor, they have transformed a new town recreation space into a welcoming and secure environment for everyone, demonstrating their ability to lead and inspire meaningful change. 

The project focused on enhancing a town recreation outdoor area to create a beautiful and safe spot for picnics, campfires, and community gatherings. While faced with challenges, the Girl Scouts of Troop 1693 demonstrated the powerful impact of small, collective efforts. Successfully engaging community members who eagerly donated time and resources, the troop proved that Girl Scouts are more than capable of managing projects that leave lasting impressions. 

This improved outdoor space stands as a testament to the Girl Scout spirit of collaboration and community service. It highlights their ability to bring people together and create positive change, reflecting the values of the Girl Scouts: courage, confidence, and character.
