WindowDressers, a nonprofit dedicated to warming homes, saving energy, and building community, is partnering with First National Bank, which will be sponsoring three Community Builds in Orono, Rockland/Camden, and Belfast, to be held during the fall of 2026, according to a news release. First National Bank will be providing both financial and volunteer support to each of these Community Builds.

This sponsorship will help sustain WindowDressers’ Special Rate Program, which offers low- or no-cost insulating window inserts to households who are struggling financially to afford their heating costs and other basic needs, according to the news release.

In addition to their financial support, employees from First National Bank will participate as volunteers at the Community Builds, working alongside other community members to help assemble window inserts for households who have requested them. Last year, First National Bank employees participated in three local Community Builds as volunteers and WindowDressers is excited to continue this partnership.
