'Electrify Your Home' presentations November 6 and 20 in Rockport
Homeowners interested in ways to reduce energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions can learn more about approaches involving increased home electrification in upcoming presentations organized by the new Energy Coaching Program in Camden and Rockport.
On Thursday November 6, from 5:30-7 p.m., John Luft ,of ReVision Energy, will explain why a growing number of households are electrifying their air and water heating, ranges and more. He’ll discuss what to consider if you’re interested in electrifying your home and what questions to ask of contractors.
On Thursday November 20, from 5:30-7 p.m., the founder and owner of Royal River Heat Pumps, Scott Libby, will talk about why heat pumps are popular for air heating/cooling and water heating, and what you should know about this technology.
Both events, held in the Parker Room of the Rockport Opera House at 6 Central Street, are part of a State Community Resilience Partnership grant project.
There will be time for questions from the audience, and both sessions will be recorded. (Look for them, following the events, on the “Home Energy Action” page of the CamdenCAN website.)
