Efficient Garden Maintenance presentation at Merryspring
John Fromer will lead an outdoor presentation on Efficient Garden Maintenance, Tuesday, June 10, at 12 p.m., at Merryspring Nature Center.
This talk by Maine Master Gardener Volunteer John Fromer is a follow-up and in-the-field version of his talk at the Rockport Library on maintenance. During this talk, Fromer will discuss how to be an effective weeder, strategies for preventing disease, basic pruning and staking, deadheading, drip irrigation, feeding and how plants grow through the season.
"Understanding plant growth habits is important to providing the appropriate care during the season," said Merryspring, in a news release.
This in-person talk is part of the Summer Talk Series co-sponsored by Reny’s – A Maine Adventure and Camden Riverhouse Hotel. Attendance is free for members; $10 for non-members.
