Wanda Jean Lorenzen, obituary
ROCKLAND — Wanda Jean Lorenzen, 77 of Rockland, passed away with her family by her side on April 30, 2025, following a brief period of declining health.
Wanda was born on August 3, 1947, in San Diego, California. She moved often throughout her life, residing in multiple states, with Rhode Island always being her favorite. She eventually settled again in Maine, later opening the Coastal Answering Service in 2010, working alongside her mother until its closure in 2010.
Wanda’s family will miss the smell of her delectable cooking, while hearing some version of a crime show playing in the background. Her lifelong collection of angel décor will always remind them of her. She will be forever missed by those who loved her and remembered as the fiercely strong and independent woman that she was.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Jack; brother, Jack, Jr., son Nicholas; and many beloved pets.
She is survived by her children, son Christopher; daughter Stacey; daughter Taylor and son-in-law, Kyle; grandchildren, Michael, Kylie, Reese, and Brynn; great-grandchild, Mason; as well as sisters, Madolin, Patricia, Jan, Denise, and her best friend, Nola, her long-time chosen family.
In keeping with Wanda’s wishes, no services will be held. Her family will remember her life privately.
