Spring Migration Bird Walk with Georges River Land Trust
ST. GEORGE— Spring has arrived and so have the birds. Join Georges River Land Trust and coastal birder Ann Boover, Saturday, May 31, at 7:30 a.m., for a guided bird walk at Fort Point Trail in St. George. Boover will identify migratory birds by sight and song.
"This is a great chance to learn, share a love of birds, and get outside," said GRLT, in a news release.
This walk is free and open to everyone, from beginner birders to master naturalists. All ages are welcome.
The trail at Fort Point is universally accessible with a 3 foot wide tread and frequent passing areas. The group will cover up to 1.2 miles during this program. Binoculars are recommended, but not required.
Parking is limited. Please visit georgesriver.org/events to register. Contact maeve@grlt.org with questions.
