TENANTS HARBOR — Dennis M Leight, 78, of Tenants Harbor, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Sussman House in Rockport with his wife by his side.

Born August 30, 1947, in Baldwin Harbor, Long Island, New York, he was the son of Bernard and Gloria Leight.

Moving to Tenants Harbor in 1978, Dennis held several positions during his career. Most notably, Dennis served as Administrator of Coastal Christian School in Waldoboro for 13 years. Following retirement, he was proud to Captain for the Wyeth’s by Water Boat Tours out of Port Clyde. Active in his community, Dennis was also a member of local organizations.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ann Marie of Tenants Harbor; his daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Timothy; grandson, Robert, and granddaughters, Bryony and Cassandra all of London, UK. Special thanks to the friends who visited and helped Dennis as well as to the staff at the Sussman House.

A memorial service in honor of Dennis will be held Friday, October 31, 2025, at 1 p.m., at Lakeview Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 188 Rockland Street, (Route 17) Rockport.
