Carolyn Stwertka, MD, joins MaineHealth Pediatrics Belfast
BELFAST — MaineHealth Waldo Hospital welcomes Carolyn Stwertka, MD, to its Pediatrics Belfast practice.
Dr. Stwertka comes to Waldo Hospital from Northern Light Pediatric Care, in Bangor, and Maine Coast Pediatrics, in Ellsworth, where she was a pediatrician at both locations.
Dr. Stwertka completed her residency as a pediatric physician at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York in 2014 and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Rochester.
According to MaineHealth, in a news release, Pediatrics Belfast offers a variety of services including well-child visits and immunizations, management of chronic health conditions, sick visits, developmental and behavioral concerns, school and sports physicals, autism screenings for children three-and-under, and more.
